At Vail Valley Anglers, we offer products and services designed to suit every type of fisherman. Our fully stocked fly shop features the largest fly selection in the central Rockies and is located in the Edwards Riverwalk next to Juniper Restaurant and across from the movie theater.
In addition to offering a vast selection of fly fishing gear, we are open year round and are fully committed to the sport of destination fly fishing, offering guided fly fishing trips throughout Colorado and the world! Our fishing expertise extends well beyond the Vail Valley and we are fully stocked year round to provide an experience that you will not soon forget.

Hike and Fish trips entail a scenic hike to some of Colorado's finest back country secret fishing hot spots. Along the way, clients will enjoy wildflowers in peak season and a back-country lunch worthy of a king. It is important that clients be able to walk several miles to be able to fully enjoy this one of a kind experience.

Overnight Float

Price is per person, per day. The overnight float fishing experience on the Colorado River is one not to be missed. With decades of experience we have put together the ultimate float fishing and overnight camping experience. You can have confidence that our overnight trip is not an afterthought with some friends camping equipment that was thrown together at the last minute. Relax and float the river enjoying the world class dry fly fishing then settle into your camp late in the afternoon for a world class meal provided by our catering company Tasteful Creations. With decades of experience in offering a high level of service you will be pleasantly surprised with our attention to detail and delivery and be coming back year after year.
Our overnight camp is on a private ranch. We provide modern sleeping cots and large client tents for a comfortable setting. All meals are custom and are created based on the desires of your particular group. A sample menu will be emailed to you to sign off on. We do not provide alcohol on any of our guided trips including the overnight trip.

Included in all trips is a cooler with ice, bottled water, all safety gear, fly rods, waders and boots, transportation if required, and an experienced, friendly fly fishing guide. All full day trips include a freshly prepared streamside lunch. Lunch can be added to any half day or less trip for a fee. Depending on conditions, a full day trip will generally last 6-8 hours, half day trips will last 4-5 hours. Trips do not include flies, a Colorado fishing license or guide gratuity.
