STOLAT Fishing Charters is run by a father and son team who have over 60 years combined sport fishing charter experience. They have been fishing the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 20 years and have distinguished themselves in both inshore and offshore fishing. Captain Paul K., originally from Long Island New York has over 50 years charter and party boat experience. His fishing expertise ranges from bottom fishing to giant blue fin tuna. Captain Paul A. has 20 years local experience as both charter boat mate and captain, in addition to extensive commercial fishing in New York.

We recently repowered the STOLAT in December 2009 with brand new, twin, Cummins 450 HP turbo diesels. She is equipped with modern Furuno electronics including: Color Depth Sounder, Radar, two GPS, Chart Plotter, LORAN, and two VHF Radios. The spacious cabin has A/C and Heat, a clean head, comfortable seating, TV/DVD Player and Satellite Radio. We have a full galley with a microwave and complimentary coffee is always waiting when you arrive. The extra large cockpit has a Scoponich 130 class fighting chair and two companion chairs for your added comfort. All US Coast Guard safety equipment is on board.

We like to call this trip our Deep Sea Sampler. This explosive trip gives the charter the opportunity to sample both bottom fishing and trolling for a variety of fish. The fireworks start with trolling for all Offshore Game Fish in season, such as Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Billfish. Then we do some bottom/wreck fishing for delicious Tilefish, Black Sea Bass and Snowy Grouper. We may even stop at some of our favorite Amberjack spots.
