Southern Musky Outfitters is headquarted in Pembroke, Virginia (20 min. west of Blacksburg/Virginia Tech) in the offices of New River Outdoor Co. All of our guided musky trips are run on the New River and James River in Virginia, recognized as some of the best musky water in the south. Our guides, Andrew Fenstermaker and Britt Stoudenmire, are two of the most persistent and hardest working musky guides in the south.

We run our guided musky trips out of comfortable Maravia 14' to 16' self-bailing whitewater rafts with fishing frames. Our rafts are custom designed with the musky angler in mind and have 4hp four-stroke kicker motors to give us added versatility.

Our guided fishing trips include conventional or fly rods and reels, lures, flies, leader/tippet, water (on ice), shuttle and at least 8 hours "on the water" fishing time. Lunch can be arranged upon request for a small fee at the time of reservation.
