Hi, I’m Capt. Raul Montoro. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and being so close to this world-class fishing means I spend lots of time fishing and diving from Miami to the Florida Keys.
I grew up offshore fishing, and got a taste of shallow water fishing around the age of sixteen. You can say the rest is history. There’s nothing like watching the sun rising on the horizon on your favorite flat and suddenly you see a school of bonefish tailing forty feet from the bow of the boat, or casting at schools of giant tarpon in gin clear water and watching them eat your fly. It doesn’t get any better than that.
