8 Hour Wade for Brook Trout
I went back out with CT for the third time, and my second time fishing for native brook trout on the Rapidan. This time I brought my girlfriend, who is still very new to fly fishing. CT was great explaining to her how to do this very technical style of fly fishing. He even put her on the first fish of the day! We were on fish all day, with CT recognizing when conditions were beginning to change and making the needed adjustments to keep up on fish. We probably caught over 20 fish that day!

8 Hour Mountain Stream Wade for Native Brook Trout
This was my second trip with CT. September is the driest month in the Shenandoahs, which means the streams are running low, and there is less water to hold the fish. That also means much spookier fish. Despite this, CT still managed to put me on prime water in the Rapidan. I miss more strikes than one could imagine, but still wound up with a double digit day. One of the great things about fishing with CT is his knowledge of the general area. You wind up learning plenty about fishing, but you also end up learning about the local area you're fishing too! I can't wait to book my next trip with CT!

8 Hour Smallmouth Bass Fly Fishing Float Trip
CT was a great guide! He provided great local knowledge on how to fish the Shenandoah (and really any river for smallmouths), plus he provided even better instruction to my girlfriend, a very novice fly-fisher. CT kept us on fish all day, despite difficult conditions (crystal clear water and bright sun) with spooky fish.
