Lake & Stream Guide Service is a year round professional fishing guide service based in Ellijay, GA. We offer personally tailored guided trips on Carters Lake, Lake Blue Ridge, Lake Nottely, the Coosawattee River, the Toccoa River tailwater and a number of trophy-managed private trout streams throughout the region.
Lake & Stream specializes in catching BIG fish on light tackle. Safety and client comfort are paramount for us. Our mission is to provide every client a fun-filled day of fishing, while experiencing the beauty of the North Georgia area lakes and streams.

18' Polar Flats Skiff
Our lake trips are offered on an 18-foot Polar Flats boat capable of comfortably carrying up to 4 anglers, plus the Captain. Its center console design allows fishing from any edge of the boat, while offering a stable platform for both younger and older anglers to fish from.
The skiff is a great way to scoot around our mountain lakes hunting big fish, as it's powered by a new 90 HP Yamaha outboard. From the top-of-the-line Humminbird sonar/GPS system, to the Minn Kota iPilot trolling motor, "Fat Boy" is outfitted with everything that could be needed for a successful day on the water.
The 60-gallon bait tank on the deck is capable of holding as many as 200 live baits. Custom installed LED lighting keeps the interior of the boat safely well-lit for any early morning or nighttime adventures.
With an abundance of rod holders, there's storage to accommodate every kind of fishing we do, along with the gear it requires. To keep your ice, drinks, food and fish cold all day, even in the heat of summer, a 75-quart Yeti cooler has been installed in the boat.
Plenty of storage and lots of room to fish make "Fat Boy" the perfect choice for a comfortable day of lake fishing.

High-N-Dry
16' Drift
Fishing from Lake and Stream Guide Service's "Cata-Raft," offers anglers the perfect platform to fish the Toccoa River tailwater and other large rivers. At 16-feet long and 8-feet wide the raft, or "High- N-Dry" as we call her, is built of two top-of-the-line Aire brand pontoons under a Down River Outfitters aluminum frame. Our boat is one of the safest and most spacious ways to traverse white water.
The boat accommodates two anglers at a time and features sturdy leaning bars to allow for casting from a standing position no matter how rough the water. Unlike hard drift boats, it's virtually impossible to flip a cata-raft.
Lake and Stream offers guided fly-fishing, spin-fishing and sight-seeing/photo tours aboard the raft.

We offer spinning gear, fly gear, trolling gear and baitcasters (left handed gear available). Most lake trips will use live bait. Our mornings start at 3am with catching the best bait for that day of fishing. We believe that having fresh and lively bait is a key factor to a successful day on the water!

Half Day - Great Fishing
Everything was perfect, fishing was great. Our guide gave great information, the entire day was so much more than I expected. The lake was beautiful and I learned so much from the guide.
Highly recommend you give them a call and book a trip.
