About
Captain Mike Wisniewski started his fishing career before he could barely walk. His father Charlie would bundle him up and take him ice fishing supposedly to "tire him out" so he and Mom could get some well deserved sleep! Since those days of "JIGGING UP" yellow perch, Mike became obsessed with the art of not just catching fish but constantly innovating new ways to be more successful! This relentless pursuit of tight lines and bent rods led him to earn his BS in Fisheries Biology from Unity College in 1997.
Having gained the knowledge and understanding the physiology and behavior of game fish, Mike earned his USCG Captains License and has been commercially fishing and guiding other fisherman ever since. Mike is a tireless and dedicated fisherman. His attention to detail and sometimes ridiculous work ethic ensures he will do just about anything to land a fish!

26' Center Console
The Jigged Up is a 26 foot center console equipped with twin YAMAHA 250 hp fourstroke engines which cruise effortlessly at 30 mph. Her state of the art GARMIN GPS chartplotter, fishfinder and radar get us and KEEP us on the fish regardless of visibility! Once you experience the layout and handling of a REGULATOR, you will easily see why it is ''THE ULTIMATE RIDE''.
For safety we have a 6 person REVERE offshore liferaft and EPIRB as well as being in compliance with all USCG regulations. Our 2 VHF radios keep us in contact with the world beyond the Jigged UP and to aid us and others in FINDING THE FISH! We also have a private head under the center console.
