Come fish the Albemarle Sound in comfort aboard the Jawfly. Her large back deck has plenty of area to fish up to six anglers with room to spare. There is shade from the sun under the canopied deck and plenty of room to relax in the cabin. With our full galley your catch can be cleaned and cooked for the FRESHEST fish you'll ever eat. We usually concentrate on the bridges, Wright Memorial or one of the Manns Harbor bridges, for the bottom structure they provide.

JAWFLY might seem like a strange name for a boat, it is, she was custom built in the Florida Keys and the locals, known as "conchers" call the "noseeums" that hang around the dock "jawflys".
She however is no gnat. At 45'in length and 16'on the beam, she weighs in at 34 net tons and holds 1200 gallons of fuel. She is a spacious coastal trawler that is cruise proven with well over 10,000 traveling miles under her keel. The Jawfly is a very comfortable liveaboard with all the amenities of home. My family and I have cruised extensively up and down the east coast and to the Islands, she has made way from the Virgin Islands to Rhode Island.
