Scott is knowledgeable, an expert, and makes the trip fun! (Isn't catching the big ones always fun?) I have been fishing with Scott at Pagosa each July for about seven years. He gauges the various streams and weather conditions and always finds a great spot. He knows the what, where and how to entice the fish. This year I was worried because of the East Fork Fire Complex that had recently ravaged part of CO. (This problem is resolved now.)Scott took,me up high on Wolf Creek Pass to clear waters. Another day we fished the San Juan above Pagosa and landed some really big ones. We also fished the Quality Waters of the San Juan below the dam where I landed 10 rainbow in just a couple of hours. My favorites, though, are the high, small streams with the Native Cutthroat who fight and are a bit cagey. I think you will be pleased with this knowledgeable, expert guide. Plan ahead since his trips book early for the summer months.
