About
A native Floridian, Captain Herb Kehoe has over 35 years of fishing experiences in South Florida. "Growing up in Ft. Lauderdale, fishing for bonefish, permit, tarpon, snook and redfish has given me an opportunity to log a lifetime of memories and gain vast knowledge of the waters I fish. After 14 years of guiding fishing parties in different locations throughout South Florida, the serenity and remoteness of the Florida Everglades led me back to Chokoloskee, FL, an area I fished for the first time in 1972. Now I spend over 200 days a year on the water, concentrating my efforts on backwater light tackle species. Each day on the water brings a new experience to record in my log book as I find my way into some of the most secluded areas of Everglades National Park: Lostsmans, Rodgers, Broad and Harney Rivers, Cabbage Bay, Jungle Bay, Tarpon Bay, Two I Bay, Graveyard Creek, Rocky Creek and Indian Camp Creek".
Fish aboard our 22 foot Pathfinder 2200XLTournament Edition Bay Boat for near shore/offshore species such as permit, pompano, cobia, seatrout, mackerel, kingfish, sharks, grouper, snapper and tripletail, or in the rivers and backbays of the 10,000 islands for snook, redfish, trout, mangrove snapper and tarpon. Our artificial reef structures provide a haven for migratory species year round, and are located close enough that we can fish both inshore and offshore on the same day. Whatever your preference, Finesse Charters offers you a wonderful day on the water.
