Captain Rob Barker grew up in Edenton, NC and spent as much time on the water as he could growing up, fishing around the creeks and rivers any time he could but was hooked on the blue water at an early age and soon decided this was what he wanted to make a career of. Rob got his captains license at age 18 and after graduating from North Carolina State moved to the Outer banks permanently to pursue his passion. Watching people catch fish and have the time of their lives is what makes his job so enjoyable. We hope you enjoy a memorable blue water sport fishing adventure in comfort aboard the Desperado.

The DESPERADO is a 56' Taylor Made boat equipped with the latest electronics and fishing tackle. In the big roomy salon, you will find amenities including: satellite television and radio, ipod hookup for Stereo System, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, icemaker, and large head down below. In the cockpit you will find three fighting chairs and a extra large fish box to keep your catch ice cold. We have everything from spinning reels to 130s to maximize on your fishing experience. She is powered by a 1550HP C-30 Caterpillar turbocharged diesel that provides a cruising speed of 26 knots and max speed of 33 knots.
