The 18’ Hewes Redfisher is a great all around light tackle shallow water boat built to handle various types of fishing. As one of the original builders of flats boats, this boat was built in classic Hewes style. From its lap strake siding to its deep v bow, it can handle various water conditions and is powered by a Yamaha outboard motor. This model is equipped with two live wells and has plenty of dry storage. It will comfortably fish up to three anglers for a day of fishing for redfish, trout, flounder, and other inshore species.

The Egret 18’9″ is the industry leader in flats boat design, construction techniques and materials and is known in the fishing world as the Rolls Royce of flats boats. The Egret rides like a much larger boat but yet floats in mere inches of water. Rigged with a 2008 Evinrude E-Tec 175 engine that is incredibly quiet and lighting fast it will get us to my fishing spots in no time at all! There is plenty of dry storage to keep the deck uncluttered and personal belongings dry . Over the years I have owned and fished out of some of the finest flats boats of this size and in my personal opinion the Egret 18’9″ is the most comfortable and dry riding flats boat I have owned and fished.
