Capt. Matt Bellinger has a love of the marine environment that began as a small kid growing up in the South. Summers were spent in the Low Country of South Carolina fishing and crabbing and exploring the tide waters. In Atlanta, Matt fished the many lakes, ponds and creeks that are found in that region. Fishing was the focal point for him to the extent that the name of his charter business, Bamboo Charters, comes from the fact that when asked "where is Matthew?" his Mom would reply "that he is down in the bamboo fishing!" The "bamboo" being a bamboo grove or patch that grew on the edge of his neighborhood and had a creek running through it. From baby bluegills to monster sharks and tarpon give him a fishing stick and just add water!

25' Yellowfin Yachts Bay Boat
The boat that we will be fishing from is the built from the ground up for fishability. Comfort, speed and safety went into the formula when Yellowfin Yachts laid down the design of this bay boat. The boat is 24 ft. 10 in. long and 8 ft. 6 in. wide and makes for a very stable fishing platform. Two bait wells will supply us with plenty of fresh live bait throughout the days action. The boat carries all the required U.S. Coast Guard safety gear as well as a complete first aid kit and back up communication gear. There is plenty of dry storage for your personal belongings and we’ll have plenty of cold storage on board for your refreshments and any food that you might want to bring. The boat is powered by a very dependable Mercury Verado 275HP 4Stroke outboard engine that lets us cover vast expanses of water. The Verado is known for its clean and quite running design. For your entertainment we can listen to the quite solitude of the Everglades or turn on the Sirius Satellite radio and you pick the sound track for your adventure on the water. The boat has a complete electronics package for safe navigation as well as a fish finder.

Rates are for 1-2 anglers. Add $50 for 3 anglers or $100 for 4 anglers. Includes all rods, reels, and rigging, all baits (natural and artificial), all fishing licenses, Ice for fish and drinks, and Fish cleaning and packaging/freezing.
