Captain Randy Stallings

I booked two days of fly fishing the flats for Tarpon with captain Randy. It was my first time on the flats, and turned out to be much more difficult than I expected. Randy worked really hard to get me in perfect position for the fish on every string we saw. I ended up hooking one good size tarpon on the first day, but it broke off several minutes later. Randy explained what I needed to do well, but he did get a little frustrated when I missed casts. My casting was much better on the second day, but unfortunately the wind kicked up significantly. I had several tarpon follow my fly, but could not get one to swallow it. The wind started making it impossible to cast, so Randy called the day early and only charged me for a half day. I'd recommend Randy for someone who's been on the flats before.
